Disability Employee Resource Group March 18 meeting spotlights Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month
All VUMC employees with disabilities and allies, anyone who has an interest in supporting individuals with disabilities, are encouraged to join the Disability Employee Resource Group and attend the next meeting at noon on March 18.
In honor of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, the one-hour virtual meeting will feature two organizations that are part of the Tennessee Developmental Disabilities network and provide disability employment support resources. Presenters will include Lauren Pearcy, Director of Public Policy at Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities, and Brian Keller, Public Policy and Voting Attorney at Disability Rights Tennessee.
