VUMC sources quoted by New York Times, Washington Post, NBC News, more

William Schaffner, MD, professor of Preventive Medicine, continues to be one of the most in-demand sources about COVID-19, influenza and other subjects in the news. Among the news organizations he has spoken with recently: The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Prevention, PolitiFact , Politico, Healthline, Westwood One, The Hill, and CBS San Francisco.

Kathryn Edwards, MD, Sarah H. Sell and Cornelius Vanderbilt Professor of Pediatrics, was quoted by NPR in a story about possible menstruation changes as a side effect of COVID vaccines.

NBC News reporter Elizabeth Chuck interviewed Buddy Creech, MD, director, Vanderbilt Vaccine Research Program, for a story about vaccinated parents who are worried they will catch and transmit COVID to children who are too young to get the vaccine.
