VUMC sources quoted by Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, NBC News, more

William Schaffner, MD, professor of Preventive Medicine, continues to be one of the most in-demand sources about COVID-19, influenza and other subjects in the news. Among the news organizations he has spoken with recently: Scripps TV, Medical News Today, Healthline, CBS, CNN, The Washington Times, The Wall Street JournalPrevention, USA Today, and The Washington Post.

Associated Press national reporter Linda Johnson interviewed Stacie Dusetzina, PhD, associate professor of Health Policy, for a story about US hospital groups making their own drugs to fight high drug prices and shortages. Dusetzina was also quoted in a Bloomberg Law story about a Senate deal about payment for wasted drugs.

Keipp Talbot, MD, MPH, associate professor of Medicine, was interviewed by NBC News and The Washington Post for stories about the CDC’s recommendation of a booster shot of COVID vaccine for immunocompromised patients.
