Department of Medicine remaining September Medicine Grand Rounds announced
Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s (VUMC) Department of Medicine will host the upcoming Medicine Grand Rounds on Thursdays at 8 a.m. in September. Lectures will be live streamed and open to the medical community, including those outside Vanderbilt. Free CME credit is also provided with advanced registration.
September 16: Des Prez Lectureship: “Complementopathies: From PNH to CAPS to COVID”
- Speaker: Robert Brodsky, MD, Professor of Medicine and Director of the Division of Hematology, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine
September 23: Schulman Lectureship
- Speaker: Robert Hoover, MD, FASN, FAHA, Section Chief, Nephrology and Hypertension, Tulane University School of Medicine. Title: “Update on Hypernatremia: From Copeptin to Rapid Correction.”
September 30: Salmon Lectureship
- Speaker: Ami Bhatt, MD, PhD, Associate Professor of Medicine (Hematology) and Genetics, Stanford University. Title: “From Precise Microbial Genomes to Precision Medicine.”
