Patricia Townsend Meador Lecture to feature University of Washington's Douglas Diekema, Oct. 19

The 2021 Patricia Townsend Meador Lecture will feature the University of Washington's Douglas Diekema. The lecture is set for noon on Oct. 19 in 214 Light Hall and via Zoom.

Diekema is professor of Pediatrics and professor of Bioethics and Director of Education at the Trueman Katz Center for Pediatric Bioethics at Seattle Children's Research Institute.

His lecture is titled, "When Parents and Providers Disagree: Understanding and Responding to Conflicts in the Care of Children."

The lecture is co-sponsored by the Center for Biomedical Ethics and Society and the Department of Pediatrics.
