"OHC Comes to You" and the Peer Vaccination Program provide two easy ways to get a flu shot

VUMC's second annual FLUla-2-Uza kicked off recently, and Occupational Health wants to ensure all employees have the opportunity to participate. FLUla-2-Uza makes getting your flu immunization easy and convenient.

Occupational Health Clinic provides an onsite service option through the “OHC Comes to You” program. Departments can request for Occupational Health Clinic staff to administer flu vaccines at their specific location. To schedule an onsite flu vaccine service, submit a request here.

The Peer Vaccination Program enables staff members, such as a licensed nurses, pharmacists, or PAs to vaccinate their coworkers. Departments with the ability to provide flu vaccines to coworkers are encouraged to utilize this program. For more information on department eligibility requirements and for registration information, visit the Occupational Health’s Peer Vaccinator Program page.

In addition, VUMC faculty and staff can receive their flu vaccination by visiting the following locations:

  • Visit the Occupational Health Clinic (OHC) locations in the Medical Arts Building, 6th Floor (Nashville campus), Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-4 p.m., or at One Hundred Oaks on Thursdays, 8-11:30 a.m. Walk-in services are available. No appointment is necessary.
  • To receive a flu vaccine at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital, Vanderbilt Bedford County Hospital, and Vanderbilt Tullahoma Harton Hospital, please reach out to your respective Occupational Health resource at your location.
