COVID-19 Flu Panel Changes

As of Oct. 27, changes in order sets will combine COVID-19, Flu, RPP and RSV panels. This change will simplify ordering, decrease frequency of erroneous orders and save clicks.

All users in ambulatory and inpatient settings who order COIVD-19, Flu, RPP, and RSV panels will be impacted by this change.

The panels have been updated for each of the four patient testing scenarios:

• Inpatient and ambulatory: The patient is significantly immunocompromised or inpatient or is likely to be admitted
• Inpatient only: The patient is immunocompetent and is unlikely to be admitted
• Ambulatory only: The patient is immunocompetent and is unlikely to be admitted
• Inpatient and ambulatory: Asymptomatic transplant evaluation
