Applications for 2020 NIH S10 Programs Now Open

VUMC Internal Proposals due April 2

Program Overview

The NIH S10 Instrumentation program encourages applications from groups of NIH-supported investigators to purchase or upgrade a single item of expensive, specialized, commercially available instrumentation or an integrated system. Types of instruments supported by S10 funding include, but are not limited to X-ray diffraction systems, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and mass spectrometers, DNA and protein sequencers, biosensors, electron and confocal microscopes, cell-sorters, and biomedical imagers.

VUMC investigators who intend to apply to any of the three S10 programs should submit an internal proposal for review. An internal proposal is required for all projects and will be used to arrange matching funds and letters of support. Proposals submitted in collaboration with an SOM core facility or shared resource will be prioritized for matching funds.
