'COVID-19 Update through a Public Health Lens' virtual event is tomorrow

The Vanderbilt Master of Public Health Program will be hosting a "COVID-19 Update through a Public Health Lens" virtual event on Friday, April 10, from 12-1 p.m. 

William Schaffner, MD, an internationally renowned infectious disease specialist and public health expert, will provide the latest updates on COVID-19 and answer questions from the audience.

Dr. Schaffner is Professor of Preventive Medicine in the Department of Health Policy and Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.

Dr. Schaffner is past president of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases and has served on the Executive Board for the Infectious Diseases Society of America.
