Veterans with gastroesophageal reflux disease needed for study

Researchers at Vanderbilt are comparing the effects of a diet designed to reduce the amount of acid that backs up for the stomach into the esophagus, causing reflux, sour taste in the mouth, heartburn, nausea and other symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).

This study requires following a study diet for nine weeks.

Compensation will be provided after completing study testing visits at week one and week nine.

You may be eligible if you are a veteran who is 21 years or older and have a BMI (body mass index) of 25.0 – 44.9
