Drive-through flu vaccination option available for employees Nov. 5-7

New this year, VUMC faculty and staff will have the opportunity to register to receive their flu vaccine from Occupational Health at an upcoming three-day drive-through event called the “FLUla-2-Uza Fast Flu Drive-Through!” This is a convenient option for employees to receive their flu vaccine before the Dec. 1 deadline.

What: Drive-through flu shot event

Who: For VUMC employees only (no spouses, dependents, affiliates, volunteers, or other non-employees)

When: Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 5-7, from 9:00am – 3:00pm (sign-up required to attend)

Where: 2104 Dayton Ave, Nashville, TN 37210

Registration:

You must register ahead of time to attend this event. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis until all spots are filled. One registration per employee. Appointments are available every 5 minutes on each day. Register at https://www.signupgenius.com/tabs/13576d906a1cfefc6ab2-flula2uza. If you have ever had an adverse reaction to the flu shot, we recommend not signing up for this drive-through event.

Additional Details:

• Only employees will be vaccinated.
• You will remain in your car during the event.
• In the event of inclement weather, the event may be cancelled.
• After signing up, you will be sent a confirmation email with further event information.
