What is the group’s purpose?
Diversity is vital for VUMC’s ability to grow and innovate in such a fast-changing environment. ERGs are an integral component of our commitment to help drive change in diversity and inclusion. Our purpose is to engage and identify ways to leverage diversity and increase inclusion to drive positive change in the Asian American and Pacific Islander community.
What is the group's mission?
HAAPI serves to inspire others to promote inclusion by celebrating Asian and Pacific Islander heritage.
Joey Manansala from HealthIT, Daniel Nanto from VUMC IT and Maria Melton from Learning & Development are co-leading this group.
