Employees requested to remove old eStar implementation signs
VUMC implemented eStar in the fall of 2017, which required that we use signage to notify our patients and their families that we were undergoing a significant change. Most of this signage was taken down at the beginning of 2018, as areas and clinics stabilized their operations and no longer felt it necessary to inform patients of the change.
There may be lingering areas around VUMC where signage may have yet to removed. If you see a poster, sign or table tent in a patient- or family-facing area, please take the time to remove it now. The material is paper-based, so can be placed in a recycling bin if there is one available. If not, please dispose of the signage in the trash.
This transition signage includes the headline “The Future of Care is Here!” and uses the space theme of EpicLeap.
Questions or concerns can be directed to Madison Agee, HealthIT Communications Manager, at madison.m.agee@vumc.org. Thank you for your assistance in removing this outdated signage.
