Osher Center offers "Yoga for Stress Relief"
Stress affects us all in different ways. In this 6-week series, we’ll use movement and meditation to relieve stress from the body and mind, as well as deeply listen to what we need to stay balanced. We’ll build on breathing, gentle yoga, and meditation techniques each week. All bodies, levels, and life experiences are welcome to join.
Suitable for: All levels class for individuals who experience stress
When: Mondays at 11 a.m., 6-week series March 11-April 15

Cancellation Policy: Participants may cancel up to one week before start date without penalty, after that date there is a 20% cancellation fee. No refund is available after the first-class date.
Instructor: Melissa Shah, MPH, RYT-500, RPYT, began practicing yoga therapy as a child to heal her asthma. At a young age, she was inspired to teach and completed her first training with the Vivekananda Institute in Hatha Yoga and Yoga for stress management. She's pursued several trainings since, including a 200hr training at YogaWorks in NYC, as well as her prenatal certification. After moving to Nashville in 2015, she pursued a holistic 200HR training with Ritam Healing Arts, and her 300HR Yoga Therapy certification with the Yoga Well Institute - based on the teachings of Shri Krishnamacharya and TKV Desikachar. Her classes incorporate a deep awareness of the breath and are empowering, innovative, and thoughtful. She puts her heart into making yoga accessible to all and that students develop a strong, sustainable foundation in their practice.
