Nominations open for Hidden VUMC Figures; deadline is today

On Nov. 4, 2019, the Office of Diversity Affairs will present the third Hidden VUMC Figures event in 208 Light Hall. This event seeks to acknowledge all members of the VUMC community who have helped advance the medical center to its internationally recognized status. 

Nominations are solicited from the entire VUMC community. The chosen employee honorees must have contributed in a substantive manner to the success of the Medical Center. In some cases, past awardees were the first in their areas or contributed in some innovative or groundbreaking manner in their service to the Medical Center.

Email nominations by completing and submitting this form:                                                        Hidden VUMC Figures 2019 Nomination Form by Aug. 15, 2019. You will be asked to include the person’s name, years of service (if known), and a short description of their job and important contributions.

The Office of Diversity Affairs will collect all the names and based on the number of responses for a single person and/or their seminal contribution to the Medical Center, will determine this year’s honorees.
