A roundup of a few recent stories from the press about Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

New York Times reporter Jack Healy interviewed Christina Hayhurst, MD, assistant professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, for a story about fentanyl dosing in a medical ICU. 

Everyday Health freelance writer Kerry Weiss and Washington Times reporter Shen Wu Tan interviewed William Schaffner, MD, professor of Preventive Medicine, for stories about the upcoming flu season. Schaffner was also quoted in several other stories in Men’s Health, the Daily Mail, and Healthline.
