Everyday Health reporter Don Rauf interviewed William Schaffner, MD, professor of Preventive Medicine, for a story about antibiotics and flu vaccine effectiveness. Schaffner was also interviewed by CNN and the Washington Times for general stories about the upcoming flu season. Schaffner also spoke the the biomedical news site Stat for a story about the HPV vaccine and its importance for both males and females.

Jacob Kaslow, MD, a clinical fellow with Pediatric Allergy, Immunology and Pulmonology at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, was quoted in a Tennessean story about injuries from the use of e-cigarettes.
