Clinical pages to be visible in MH-CURE
Beginning Sept. 25, MH-CURE by Mobile Heartbeat will be enabled to receive communications sent to VUMC pagers. This means colleagues will start to see pages through MH-CURE.
Please note:
- MH-CURE is not currently available to all colleagues in the Medical Center. It has been deployed in several inpatient areas and is available to all VMG providers.
- If you have your pager forwarded to your device, you will receive your pages as both a text (SMS) message and a notification through MH-CURE (SMS forwarding will be disabled later this year).
- Automated system pages, including critical alerts from eStar, will also be visible in MH-CURE.
- Beginning later this year, you will be able to acknowledge critical alerts through MH-CURE.
- Pager numbers and workflows will not change (e.g., if you forward your pages to a team member, you will need to call American Messaging Services (AMS) and notify them of the change).
- VUMC is beginning the process of moving to encrypted pagers, which will not affect how users receive pages through MH-CURE. More details are coming soon on how and when pager users will receive an encrypted pager.
Please call the Help Desk at 343-HELP (3-4357) with any questions on MH-CURE.
