BPA Feedback Pilot
Beginning December 18, a pilot will launch during which users will see a feedback section in many Best Practice Advisories (BPAs) throughout eStar. This section will allow users to provide their feedback on the BPA by clicking a happy, neutral or sad face icon.
The feedback will appear in the top right of the BPA. Clicking one of the faces will take the user to a RedCap survey in a pop-up browser window (without interrupting the BPA itself).
Clicking one of the smiley faces will automatically import several pieces of information into the feedback survey:
- User’s name and login department
- About which BPA user is providing feedback
- Patient encounter ID
- Which face type was clicked (happy, neutral or sad)
Users may also provide optional feedback via a free text box. The user must click the “Submit” button in the survey to ensure the feedback is sent to the BPA team. Feedback will be regularly reviewed by the BPA team and used to improve the use of BPAs at VUMC.
Communication Encounters for e-Prescription Refills
A workflow enhancement was created in eStar to help fulfill prescription requests in a more timely and efficient manner. Please refer to Tip Sheet “Sending a Communication Encounter for e-Prescription Refill Requests” (available in Hubbl) for more detail.
