Yoga classes for VUMC employees with insomnia and back pain to begin at Osher Center
The Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at Vanderbilt has two yoga classes for employees beginning in January. Both classes are designed to help with health issues.
Yoga for Back Pain
The first meeting of this series of six classes is Jan. 8, and sessions are: Mondays 7-8 a.m., Tuesdays 12:15-1:15 p.m. and Wednesdays 7-8 a.m. Participants must have a diagnosis of back issues.
Yoga for Insomnia starts Jan. 22
The first meeting of this series of six classes is Jan. 22, and sessions are Mondays 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesdays 12:15-1:15 p.m.and Thursdays 5:30-6:30 p.m.
A $20 co-pay is required at the start of the session and participants should arrive a half hour early for check-in for the first meeting.
All classes will take place here at the Osher Center, 3401 West End Ave, Suite 380.
All mats and props will be provided. Participants should wear comfortable clothing.
