Researchers seeking children and adults ages 10-20 who have been diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 1
Vanderbilt researchers are seeking children and adults ages 10-20 who have been diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis Type 1 for a study.
Participation in the study involves:
*Three separate visits, 12 weeks apart (second visit over five days)
* Comprehensive evaluation of reading-related skills at each visit
* Four one-hour MRI scans
*Reading tutoring (during second visit)
Compensation for participation is:
$100 for first visit (2 half days)
$150 for second visit (5 days)
$100 for third visit (1 day)
There will be an evaluation report from each visit. Travel reimbursement is available for participants outside a one-hour radius of Nashville/VUMC area.
