"Accidental Entrepreneur" lecture with David Black is Feb. 2

The Enabling Innovation Initiative (el2) will host David Black on Friday, Feb. 2, at 3 p.m. in 214 Light Hall. A reception will immediately follow. Black will present "Accidental Entrepreneur: From scientist to businessman in 20 short years.” 

Black is a clinical associate professor of Immunology, Microbiology, Pathology and Pharmacology at Vanderbilt University. He is the founder of Aegis Sciences Corp., a national leader in healthcare and forensic laboratory sciences. He is also the founder and CEO of the Phoenix Sciences Group LLC. Black will share insights for young scientist-entrepreneurs interested in starting their own ventures or becoming a contributing member of established companies.
