Parking reminder: vehicle registration required for all employees
With the start of a new year, please remember that parking registration is required for all employees parking on the Vanderbilt campus. With a goal of assuring that employees have secure and convenient parking, and the responsibility to lessen the impact of parking on neighboring streets, the Medical Center provides a variety of parking options.
Metro Nashville has notified VUMC that it plans to implement increased enforcement of two-hour and residential parking around the VU and VUMC campus in response to complaints from neighbors.
In order to assure an availability of parking spaces, all vehicles parked by Medical Center employees or students on the 21st Avenue South and One Hundred Oaks campuses are to be registered with VUMC Parking & Transportation Services.
While new staff can purchase permits online, all others must visit the Parking Permit Office, located in the East Garage, level G.
For those who prefer to park free, parking and shuttle service is available at Lot 127 near Greer Stadium.
