Latest eStar changes and updates announced
Removal of Hard Stop when Cancelling Outpatient Lab
As of Jan. 27, users will no longer be required to select a reason when canceling an outpatient lab order. This change will help improve clinician efficiency and reduce “clicks” within eStar. It will impact all outpatient eStar users who order labs.
eStar currently requires "Reason for canceling" when canceling outpatient lab. This hard stop will be removed, and the user can simply select "Accept" to cancel the order.
Last Note Now Visible in Haiku and Canto
As of Jan. 27, the clinician’s last written note will be more easily visible in haiku and Canto. This change will help improve the use of mobile eStar tools.
The Summary page of Haiku/Canto will now display a section for “My Last Note,” showing the most recent note written about the patient. Users can collapse the "Last Note" section by clicking on chevron in the upper right corner.
