eStar update: Medication instructions in Spanish

As of June 10, medication instructions (also known as “sigs”) that appear in the after-visit summary (AVS) will be available in Spanish. This change will help enhance readability of medication guidance for Spanish speakers. More than 13,000 distinct medication sigs have been translated into Spanish. They will display if Spanish is selected as patient’s preferred or written language.
