Patient Service and Guest Services employees honored for National Customer Service Week, Oct. 5-9
National Customer Service Week is Oct. 5-9, and the Patient Service Specialist Advisory Board is sponsoring celebrations for our Patient Service Specialist staff at VUMC, who work tirelessly to provide excellent customer service to our patients while supporting business needs. Guest Service will also be honored during the week.
There are several events planned to celebrate staff during this scheduled week.
- Monday, October 5: Wear Pink Day. Staff can opt out of standard attire to wear pink to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
- Tuesday, October 6: Career Development Day. Human Resources is offering resume reviews and mock interviews for PSS staff from 11-1 via Zoom. Staff are required to sign up for a session at this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/PA10062020. Additionally, the PSS Professional Home will be leading a session from 4:15-5:00 to discuss professional development opportunities for staff. - Wednesday, October 7: Dress like a Superhero -- Staff can opt out of standard attire to dress like their favorite superhero.
- Thursday, October 8: Clinics are encouraged to lead celebrations locally for staff.
- Friday, October 9: Wear VUMC Attire. Staff can opt out of standard attire to wear Vanderbilt attire to celebrate pride in VUMC.
