VUMC sources interviewed for stories in The New York Times, Washington Post, NPR, more

William Schaffner, MD, professor of Preventive Medicine, continues to be one of the most in-demand sources about COVID-19, influenza and other subjects in the news. Among the news organizations Schaffner spoke to about COVID-19, the flu, the president’s hospitalization, and other aspects of infectious disease were The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, CNBC,  ABC News, Associated Press, People magazine, Los Angeles Times and the Voice of America.

The Wall Street Journal, posted a story under the headline “Wanted in Covid-19 Fight: ‘Superdonors’ of Convalescent Plasma.” The piece quotes Todd Rice, MD, associate professor of Medicine.
