Children's Hospital staff appreciation event is tomorrow

A staff appreciation event for employees of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 21, outside the Friends' Shop on the second floor of the hospital. Friends of Children's Hospital volunteers will be giving out treats and holding drawings for Children’s Hospital employees.

This annual event gives Friends of Children’s Hospital the opportunity to say thank you for the service and excellent care hospital staff gives to children and their families. Children’s Hospital staff members are invited to come by the table to pick up a token of appreciation. Employees should bring their Vanderbilt ID.

T-shirts in a variety of colors will be also available for purchase.

For Children’s Hospital offices located off campus, employee names and phone numbers may be sent in for the drawings. Drawings will be on every half hour through the event and include gift cards to among others, Target and Starbucks.
