Latest town halls available from leaders of Children's Hospital and Vanderbilt University Adult Hospital
Children’s Hospital President Meg Rush, MD, MMHC, held a Children’s Hospital Virtual Town Hall Sept 16. She provided an overview of the current state of Children’s Hospital operations amid the pandemic. Joining her was David Aronoff, MD, FIDSA, FAAM, Director of the Division of Infectious Diseases in the Vanderbilt Department of Medicine, who discussed COVID-19 and serology testing, which looks for antibodies in the blood to indicate previous infection.
Rush also highlighted an important safety program at the hospital and spoke about the upcoming reboot of some safety initiatives.
Also, tune in to see how the Children’s Hospital administrative team used the peer vaccinator program to get their flu shots as part of Flula-2-Uza.

The Vanderbilt University Adult Hospital Town Hall aired on Sept. 18, hosted by President Shon Dwyer, MBA, RN. Dwyer, and the VUAH leadership team provided updates on Pillar Goal alignment, the COVID-19 response and shout-outs to Adult Hospital teams. The new Zoom-format also included a panel discussion to kick off National Fall Prevention week (Sept. 21-25). Panelists included:
