Donation of DVDs for stem cell patients requested

VUMC’s Stem Cell Collection service is collecting new and used DVDs to create a library for stem cell patients and donors. The patients and their donors need to be in bed with little movement for up to  three days, and the ability to watch movies and TV shows can make the time pass more easily.

Emily Carpenter, RN, in the unit is collecting the DVDs (no blu-rays) through Nov. 1. The disks do not need to be in their original cases.

They may be dropped off in person at 2512A TVC, or sent by mail to Carpenter at that address.
