Early Voting for the 2020 election ends today

VUMC urges all its employees to have a plan for voting in this election. 

Below is information on early voting in Davidson, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson counties.  Information on early voting in other counties can be found at: https://www.govotetn.com/. The link to the website for Vote Early TN, a nonpartisan site encouraging early voting, is here.

An early voter will need to bring Tennessee state or federally issued photo identification to the polling place to cast their vote. 

Political Opinions and Social Media

VUMC wants to remind all employees to be cautious when posting politically themed materials to social media. This includes refraining from tagging or mentioning VUMC in posts made to express personal views. To ensure compliance with VUMC’s social media policy please add “views my own” to any social media accounts that identify your employment at VUMC to make clear that you are not speaking on behalf of VUMC.   

As a 501(c) (3) entity VUMC and its employees are prohibited from using institutional resources to make political contributions or engaging in any partisan political activity.
